As part of your health assessment your chest x-ray as a coal mine worker must be dual read against an International Labour Organisation (ILO) standard by NIOSH B-reader approved Radiologists. Lungscreen has been appointed by the DNRME as the sole provider of this service in Queensland. Since 1 March 2019 all Queensland coal mine worker chest x-rays must be sent to Lungscreen and a fully adjudicated ILO report from Lungscreen is required prior to commencement of employment on-site.
